Not opposed, but I was told there wasn't going to be any effort to smooth the humps and valleys of the Veterans Parkway running path because of cost, the greenbelt was supposed to be "passive", and concerns of "disney-ficiation." This project seems to be a bit of a disconnect from all that (or, as I suspect, I was being gaslighted). That said, you might consider whether kinetic equipment would be distractive to passing traffic (absent an adequate sight barrier).
