Consider Adopting an Urgency Ordinance to Prohibit the Sale of Vape Products and Flavored Tobacco in the City (City Manager Moe and City Attorney Barrow).

E-cigs should be regulated like alcohol. children are not allowed to purchase, but adults are. I disagree with a wholesale ban on e-cigs. Adults should have a choice to use or not to use.
Parents should monitor their kids.
I neither support nor oppose the above ordinance. As we speak, SAN FRANCISCO'S citizens are voting on whether or not PROPOSITION C should be passed. PROPOSITION C advocates for both the authorization and regulation of electronic cigarettes—protecting adult choice while discouraging cigarette use among minors. I value individual liberty and oppose unwelcome moral consequences; thus, I would support an ordinance in line with PROPOSITION C.

Not in favor. I understand the arguments for, but I find this a bit too expansive of government in an already controlled market.
