I fully support using temporary patio platforms built over existing street parking areas on Manhattan Beach Blvd. as well as other downtown streets for expanded outside dining areas. This gives us, local citizens of MB the opportunity to support our MB restaurants with more seating capacity. Not to mention, the feel of dining in Italy this summer.
I fully support any options involving the public right-of-way that would help our restaurateurs revive their dining businesses while recognizing social distancing concerns. This was proposed by a MB resident on social media and the comment got over 290 likes.
