I work with governments on resuming travel in the context of Covid-19, and from what I see, Manhattan Beach is not doing enough to protect its immunocompromised citizens. Cases are rising in greater LA and, after allowing +200 Mira Costa seniors to gather en masse without masks, it is clear that the city does not have the best interests of its people at heart. Please reconsider the timeline for opening in-person restaurants, businesses, and beach access. Do not place leisure over human life.
