Consideration of a Request by Councilmember Napolitano and Councilmember Howorth to Discuss Objective Development Standards for Housing (City Manager Moe).

I think these "consideration of request" items could be fleshed out a bit more without disturbing the brown act. If these standards are "Development standards for development, including the height of buildings, the number of units allowed per parcel, the distance between buildings and adjacent properties, the amount of open space needed on a site, parking requirements, building design standards, and more," then why not say so and let non-council participants at least have a say in the matter. I believe a brown act principle is that agenda items should be sufficiently detailed such that a member of the public could understand the topic and cogently provide input and feedback.
