I’m writing to express my support for implementing a pilot Circuit shuttle program.
A local shuttle would provide a convenient, reliable way for residents and visitors to move around town without relying on personal vehicles or expensive services like Uber. It has the potential to ease traffic congestion, reduce emissions, ease parking demand, and improve overall accessibility to our local businesses and community spaces.
I encourage the Council to move forward with a pilot program and explore a model that includes partial rider payment to help ensure long-term sustainability. A well-designed shuttle system could significantly enhance mobility while preserving the character and livability of our city.
I am also excited about the possibility of this allowing my adult son, who has a disability, and my aging parents to get around town in a more convenient, safe, and efficient way than Dial-a-Ride provides. Thank you. Carrie Wetsch
