I support moving forward with the demolition of the park and playground. During the most recent community engagement meeting, one sports organized its players/coaches to advocate for a specific type of playing surface. While I respect their participation, I believe the feedback represented a single organized interest rather than the broader community.

In my view, the area already provides ample space dedicated to soccer. Preserving the site as open, flexible space would better serve the greatest number of residents by accommodating a wider variety of recreational activities and community uses.
