RATIFY APPROVAL OF SEPARATION AGREEMENT WITH THE FORMER HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR
Council should be asking themselves whether they did all possible to educate residents on this issue to the fullest extent possible while still retaining the ability to act in closed session as necessary. I believe council did the opposite. Also, when an employee knows they only need a vague threat of a lawsuit to get a good settlement out of the city, one can see how such a perception will play out over time.
