Project: Downtown Plan

Downtown Manhattan Beach is a vibrant and charming destination for shopping, dining, and services. The City is embarking on the development of a Downtown Plan to ensure the area remains so and to encourage business success while not losing the special feel and unique atmosphere found there currently for locals and visitors alike. The development of the Downtown Plan will be done with the full engagement of the community and other stakeholders, so check back often for updates and opportunities to participate and provide input.

The City will be hosting a Downtown Visioning Forum on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at 6:30 PM in the City Council Chambers.  Please join us as we kick-off the Downtown Plan process.

On Tuesday, May 20th, the City Council approved a Request for Proposals for the technical assistance needed to move forward with the development of the Downtown Plan.  The Request for Proposals is availabe for review.
